Title:Steam Turbine Engineer

Reports to:  Yang Cheng wen/GM � GE China Harbin Innovation Center

Location:  Harbin

-Understand the technologyof the design/integration of Steam turbine systems solutions
-Define project scope content, prepare equipment & system configurations, define and issue functional requirements for system equipment and prepare overall system controls philosophy.
-Provide system engineering ability and coordinate support to all the engineering and project management organizations involved (Customer, GE internal organizations, Consortium Partners, Architect Engineering, etc.).
-Technical ability to ensure that project/opportunity operational guarantees are met (i.e. output, efficiency, emissions, acoustics, startup times, etc.).

- Steam Turbine System Integration and Optimization
-Participate in all facets of assigned project such as: bid support, requisition support, operational requirements, vendor equipment evaluations, plant test philosophy development (for guarantee verifications), and operational problem resolutions.
-Research, develop and enhance Steam Turbine/Power Island/ Utility Island/Water technologies/CHP/Tri-gen/Quad-gen pilots for GE product lines in the areas of performance, operability and cost optimization.
-Significant engagement and support in initiatives: New Product Introduction, Plant Innovation and Competitiveness will be expected.
-Provide technical consultation to various GE, marketing and international organizations on power plants.

-Work with system team on combined cycle system integration and optimization for steam turbine perspective
-Work with GE global team to bring matured new technology and apply in Chinese STG market
- Help local partners with more localization for steam turbines and accessories
-Help promote steam turbines into China EPC application in overseas

*BS or higher degree in Mechanical, Control or Electrical.

*Solid influence, communication and presentation skills.

*Proficiency in English (written and verbal skills).

*Spirits of teamwork, external-focus, and self-motivation

*Familiar with Engineering Software Auto CAD etc.

*MS degree in Mechanical, electrical or Control Engineering.

*Thermodynamic analysis skills.
